Living in the Camp Community
Preparing for Camp (What to Bring)

Life At 5000 Feet

Your two weeks at Astrocamp will be the best two weeks of the year! The classes you chose will be both challenging and rewarding because they are designed with fun in mind. At night you'll participate in camp carnivals, campfires, and other exciting programs. The campers who come to Astrocamp are just like you. They want to have fun and meet new friends and once you become a part of the Astrocamp community, you will never want to leave!

While you are here, you will be in placed in a team. Your team is comprised of 5-8 campers that are the same age as you. Some of your team might be from different states or even different countries.

After arriving to Astrocamp your counselor will show you around campus and show you to your dorm where you will be sleeping and hanging out for the rest of camp. You will be living in dorms that are scattered across campus and might be sharing a room with one other person or your whole team! You will be sharing a bathroom and showers with your team throughout the week as well.

During some of your free-time before and after classes, you will have the chance to visit the Camp Store. Here you will find tons of Astrocamp stuff from sweatshirts to Nalgene bottles to a variety of candy and snacks.

During you stay at camp we ask you to follow and abide by the Camper Code of Conduct which is found in the information packet we sent you. Respecting others and their property will help camp smoothly.

During our Voyager program, laundry will be sent out once so if you get too dirty doing one of our amazing activites it's not a a problem. Our laundry procedure will be explained further once you get to camp.

We hope that you have a blast at Astrocamp. Your counselors and instructors are busy making all the preparations for you visit. If you have any questions you can call our main office or drop us an email.
